This case was so captivating the entire nation has been following it and it was televised on CNN. George Zimmerman a Hispanic male and leader of the local neighborhood watch shot and killed Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012.
Everyone has had an opinion on this topic since the news broke and I thought because of the strong media coverage and heavy opinions being thrown out that the case would left in the hands of a judge rather than a jury. I believed any jury pool would be tainted because of the strong media coverage and protests.
I feel like this. If Trayvon did beat up George Zimmerman then it was because he was defending himself. The boy didn't have any intention of committing any crime and to find Zimmerman not guilty of anything is outrageous. It sounds like negligent homicide to me (A person who commits negligent homicide if he or she negligently causes the death of another personor Negligent homicide is the killing of another person through gross negligence or without malice. Usually this applied when someone uses a vehicle of some kind boat, car etc. In rare cases is it applied to a murder without a vehicle being involved. I think in this instance it fits). But I'm no lawyer or paralegal. I feel George Zimmerman acted carelessly and therefore cause the death of a 17 year old kid. It makes it worse because the young man was African American and everyone slaps racial profiling on there too. But to me it doesn't matter what his race is, it only matters that he and his family see justice for his murder and he didn't get it today.
I feel bad for the family of Trayvon Martin. They deserved better than this and this long drawn out case has done nothing heal this family. I pray everything works out in the end. I would that anybody and everybody who has followed this case or read about it is clear that nothing about this case was cut and dry. It was a difficult case from the start and because of that justice did not prevail. I don't want to assume what happened to Trayvon, I just want some peace. He didn't deserve to die the way he did and it was clear that there were holes in the story of Trayvon's last day on earth. At the end of the day, he deserved better than what he got.

This isn't the first time Ms. Mary Jane has struck up with the likes of Shaq during his marriage to Basketball Wives Queen Shaunie O'Neal. Back in 08 she filed a restraining against Shaq claiming he threatened her. In a radio interview she was quoted saying "A Man is Either Going to Marry a Hoe or Cheat on His Wife With One." Her former makeup artist and friend classified her as borderline Bi-Polar and a young mother. Claiming Shaq hurt her badly and strung her along under the guise that she would be his woman and he was leaving his wife. This charade continued for more than 2 years! Anyway that was a little insight into Ms. Mary Jane.
Now Lets Look at this Situation....
As a woman you expected a married man to be honest with you and committed to you while he was in a full blown relationship with his WIFE? Mistake #1. You then go on national TV about 5 years later (who knows how many married men you've been with in that time frame) and publicly PUBLICLY sleep with a man you know damn well is having issues in his marriage and on top of that you know HIS WIFE AND SHES PREGNANT WHICH U ALSO KNEW!! Mistake #2. Then you get upset because people are judging you and chastising you because of your disrespect for someones marriage. And decide to tell everyone in the world to "Hide you Husbands" Mistake #3. Then you capitalize on your trifling ways by going on every blog, radio and or TV show that will have you and discussing it like your talking about walking down the street. That's sad.
You are a poster child for women put their stock in a man. Stupidity is written all over your face. Basically putting a sign on your ass that says FOR SALE. Why couldn't you be a classy hoe and be private about it? Keep your panties on until the doors close or rather the cameras are off. You are constantly in a hustle state always looking for a man who has money to take care of you. Honey you are ratchet as hell. Do I think your Bi-Polar HELL NO! Until I see some proof of the documents you'll just be a dumb hoe, PERIOD. I'm sorry for the harsh words but you are not even trying to be remorseful for the woman whose life you just RUINED ON NATIONAL TV! Rasheeda may be a lot of things but at least she's real. I can't take that from her. I have to give her that. She's also pregnant with his child, have some respect for their relationship good or bad and keep your ASS out of it. And I'M THROUGH!
Now usually I'm all for the drama. But in this case I'm tired of it! Chris Brown and Drake have been feuding over Rihanna and other DISS topics for years and its getting old. Chris tried to extend an olive branch once before but Drake wasn't having it and feud continued. Now Drake is on the giving end, he's officially ready to talk it out with Chris and end their feud. Although there have been reports that Chris Brown has said that he will continue to blast Drake, I don't believe that. I believe after he was denied the peace the first time Chris is not going to be suckered into no pissing match with anyone again. The last time that happened people were injured and people sued! Drake has also said that he doesn't want another confrontation, but if he it happens he's not going to back down.
Never the less I think a sit down is a great idea. These two guys are the biggest stars on the planet right now. Fortunately it wouldn't be nothing just say "Look lets let by bygones be bygones and start fresh. No diss tracks, no ill talk in the media nothing. Let's just do what we do best and work on building a friendship. If there is no friendship to be had then let's be professional and cordial. I respect you and you respect me." That's how you do it. Real Men, don't fight over a Woman. I'm sorry but there are millions of women in the world and as far as I'm concerned Rihanna was not the one for either one of you. It's time for y'all to grow up! Stop acting like cavemen and act like the gentlemen I know you both can be.
June Issue of GQ: Drake Clean Cut, LOVE IT!
Drake, I just want to say this to you whether you read this or not. You are a man of many talents your music is awesome (sometimes) and I can listen to just about all of your albums all day long. But your attitude sucks. I don't know if that's how people are portraying you or if this is how you present yourself to the world but I feel like you need to have some humility. The first time you were in GQ magazine I was stoked! I was like YES! One of my favorite rappers/actors is in my favorite men's fashion magazine. I'm copping it 100%! Then I get it on my iPad and you look GOOD, nice smile, scruffy hair but that's OK lol, and you had a on a good looking suit. So far so good right? But then I read your interview and every other word was Mutha****** this and S*** that. It was horrible. Listen as a black man you have too many strikes against you. There is a way to conduct yourself in public. Don't act like your mother didn't teach you any manners. Conduct yourself like a gentlemen, act all times. Its time out for this rude rapper persona. Lil Wayne, brilliant artist but no one is going to tolerate that thug mentality all the time (let's hope in this month's issue of GQ you have curbed that). You have to EVOLVE. You idolize Jay-Z then take your cues from him. Do you see him cussing and acting like he ain't got no home training? No! Jay-Z conducts himself like a well educated business man, because that's what he is PERIOD. I think you trying to end this drama between you and Chris is a great idea. But you are just now seeing the light. You did an interview on the radio a couple months ago blasting the man. So I wouldn't expect the sit down to happen any time soon. You should've done this a while ago instead holding on to your ego like its prize to be won. Just L.I.G. it Drake. It's time to grow up.
January Issue of XXL Magazine: Chris Brown, It's Hot!!
Chris, I think your music is awesome. But you also have work to do. I was watching Fuse a couple days ago and you were answering questions (on the set of Tanks new video Shots Fired) about people taking shots at you through the social/media. It amazed me how you said you didn't care about it. You have made some questionable decisions in your youth. Decisions that you will probably have to pay for the rest of your life. It's time to just accept it. Don't get me wrong I think you have grown so much and you've tried to shake that image that people have of you. Its been a long hard road. You owned up to your mistakes and you've continued to pay the price for what happened between you and Rihanna. It's sad but true. As a man you need to let it go with Drake. Stop and think for a second, Drake would never have been able to be with Rihanna unless she welcomed it. Nobody ever steals a mate, they usually go willingly. You have to understand that that was a long time ago. Your feelings, Drake's and Rihanna's have changed drastically. You need to make up with him not for the world or him but for yourself. When you carry around all that hatred, it takes its toll on your body and mind. It affects you. Its a burden that doesn't need to be carried. Just forgive, don't forget. Start fresh with Drake. You don't have to be buddy buddy, but I think you should at least make an effort to squash this ridiculous feud between you two.
There is no need for this to even be going on. Hip Hop and R&B are so competitive. Why can't you guys work together like Country Western artists do. Most of them are really good friends with each other. They work well with each other. Its so simple and easy to do. And by the way all of them, all of them have their multi-platinum albums, Grammy awards, and world wide tours just like you. Trust me being civil towards each other is the best route to go. It will be better than the alternative: being thrown out or banned from clubs for fighting, being sued for damages, constantly having to answer questions about your feud, debating whether your going to an event because the other guy might be there, constantly being angry for NOTHING, never ending media amping up the feud, etc. Just L.I.G. it! For Real!
I say these things out of love for the both of you. I don't think I can go a day without either one of your music on my phone, computer, iPad or iPod. I listen both of you at least once a day both old and new music (including mixtapes). Seriously I wish you both the best of luck and I hope that you two work it out!
Social media is meant for connecting with others and your favorite celebs. But people are just taking it to a whole new level. Using Twitter and Facebook to publicly humiliate and blast colleagues, enemies and more. Its childish, sad, and just flat out ignorant. Let me explain...
Raqi Thunda and Traci Steele have been battling it out on Twitter lately. Unfortunately it was nothing to really squawk about. Raqi was commenting on episodes of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. To para phase she simply said that Traci needed to focus on herself instead of the father of her child's many women. Which I agree. And Traci Steele responded by saying she always felt Djs should stick together. According to Traci Steele, Raqi Thunda isn't even on her level when it comes to being a Dj. And then it just kept going on and on from there.
Well first off I do agree with Raqi Thunda on some of the things she said about Traci Steele and her ongoing struggle with DJ Drew. Yes in many ways Drew needs to grow up and stop acting like a kid. But on the flip side of the Traci needs to let go. Her only concern should be when their child is in need. Their communication should only be if they are mutually agreeing on something that concerns their child or they have business. Other than that its not necessary for her to come over his house and cuss him out because there is a female at his residence. To me that makes me think you are not over him and your breaking a cardinal rule: Mother of the Child does not = Wife. There is a difference in your roles and Traci my dear you need to learn yours. You can be friends with Drew and even go into to business with him if you want (although next time you need to run a background check on your business man #imjussayin) but other than that let him do him and you do you. Period! I'm sorry Traci, I like you I really do but its important for you to sever your romantic/girlfriend ties with him. If you don't you will never have a meaningful relationship or live a full life outside of that relationship. Now I'm through moving on to Ms. Raqi Thunda.
Raqi, I don't really have much to say about you except, its clear you have no problem throwing shade (Joe Budden, Jen the Pen, Consequence, Rasidah, etc) but when the tables are turned you are quick to fight. To me you are clearly an attention whore. Pure and simple. Do I think your using Traci Steele's drama to stay relevant no, I think you were just speaking your mind. But after Traci commented (which by the way what she said was true and honestly anybody with a brain could see that) why couldn't you leave it alone? You said your peace. It was over. Grow Up! Its time out for this childish "Blow Down" mouthpiece you have. Yea your a radio personality, cool. I knew nothing about you until Love & Hip Hop and that's real. Just fall back. Its time to stay in your lane. Real Talk! Why did you even have to involve yourself in Traci's business. There was no need. Let's just spin this to you. If someone began speaking of the father of your child or your religion you spazz out. Everyone including colleagues from your show and people in the industry i.e. Fabolous and more have called you an IP - Industry P****. But Traci didn't go there with you, so L.I.G it, seriously. Ms. Raqi (by the way I LOVE your name, #RealTalk) stay in your lane.

Well Kenya has never been one to just take a cheap shot. So in the words of Tank (if you don't know he is an R&B singer and accomplished songwriter/producer) "Shots FIRED!"
Kenya is talking and she claims that the landlord of her million dollar, rented home is lying about her rent troubles. She is counter suing the woman for wrongful eviction, slander and emotional distress. Kenya claimed the FBI was involved by the landlord! She jokingly made this claim during one of her tweeter rants:
“An intricate plot she sent Feds 2 my spot, b*tch said I ain’t pay her, d*mn how she gonna stick me for my paper?! Biggie said it best LOL,” wrote Moore.
Hmm I didn't know the FBI got involved in civil disputes! Anyway she also alleges that the landlord enters her residence constantly without probable cause or permission. Kenya explains that the landlord is just using this to get money, fame, and damage her reputation. Well unfortunately everything will have to play out in court. I hope this isn't true. With all the money Bravo pays her and probably will end up paying her its sad to see something this trivial, become a serious problem for her.
Not to compare housewives or rather non-housewives. I remember when Kim had a similar house situation. She and her landlord had a dispute and she was ultimately she was evicted from the property. This did look bad on Kim's part but she eventually bounced back and was to find an even more fabulous than the one she had. Hopefully instead of staying in the house, Kenya will relocate and find something just as equally beautiful.
Now I'm not hating but Kenya mentioned nothing about the neighbors complaints in this alleged response. Now if the landlord has proof of Kenya's financial miss-step and her behavior in her Atlanta neighborhood (the homes outside appearance, loud nuances, etc). Then Kenya will probably be as silent as she was when Porsha read her for filth at the reunion. If the neighbors began to talk beyond what they've said then this could really ugly really quickly. #imjussayin.
BET has sunken to all time new LOW! They have recently let go of all their hosts on 106&Park. A show that is the last of its kind and probably never be another like it. I was a kid when 106&Park first started coming on. It was competing with FUSE Top 20 and the worlds #1 Video music show TRL (Total Request Live) hosted by Carson Daly. However the show got built up because of its awesome hosts Aj and Free. Everybody and I mean everybody loved Aj and Free. Free had a suave new york swag, her fashion sense was on point (she always had on the hottest shoes), with her trendsetting afro and Aj was very cool laid back, kind of bohemian vibe going on; with the long flowing dreadlocks. They talked to the hottest artists and were just all around cool people to watch. Then after they both left in 2005, I was upset. I really thought they would stay for a while before they left. To me 5 years wasn't enough! I don't remember a farewell episode for them. I remember hearing rumors about their departure and then all of a sudden Julissa and Tigger were hosting. Didn't like that at all.
Fast forward almost 10 years and now they are circulating rumors of ending the new hosts run. They set up 106&Park to be a new brand. All new hosts and entirely new concept. They are following in the steps Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood. Providing the masses with an abundance of entertainment including interviews, talk segments, social media interaction, and more.
Well within recent weeks or rather months, 106&Park has been going really RATCHET and fans of the show are not happy. Let me break it down:
1st Sign of Trouble - Some of the segments flop. Case in Point: The Miss Mykie Report. Miss Mykie is supposed to have a segment on 106&Park that discusses the latest issues and topics related to Hip Hop. According to HipHopDetroit.com, the segment failed to impress. Miss Mykie seemed to be lacking information and her interviewing skills need major work. Because Miss Mykie's background lacks those skills she should've been the last one interview or discuss anything without proper preparation. In any situation that requires a Q&A you need to be divulged in your topic. In order to have as much background on each topic, you need to study. Immerse yourself in the topics, formulate your opinion after the facts are given and then discuss the topic with your peers. Its painfully obvious Miss Mykie didn't do that.
2nd Sign of Trouble - The Hosts are GONE! Paigion and Shorty da Prince have not been on the show for a solid week. Fortunately this is not a bad sign because BET has a GET SCHOOLED campaign that they are promoting and Paigion and Shorty were apart of the promotional deal. Ms. Mykie may be on vacation (I'm just speculating) if not its unknown to the public at this moment where she is or if she's coming back. To keep the show moving BET decided to have some "celebrity" guest co-hosts and those women were all exes of Mr. 106&Park himself Bow Wow, exes that included Draya & Angela Simmons just to name a few. How tre' chic of BET LMAO!

3rd Sign of Trouble - There's no explanations?! About the hosts whereabouts. Even when Rocsi and Terrence were on vacation or took small breaks the audience was informed before the absence and during the absence. No one explained anything according Hot107.5. That's really unprofessional and a slap in the audiences face.
Meanwhile all of this is going the CEO of BET is tweeting about partying in Miami. While one of your flagship shows is basically going down the toilet. Slowly but surely.
Well the fans are outraged they took the social media to voice their disdain with the poor choice of celebrity guest hosts and the show in general.
I stopped watching 106&Park a long time ago and it wasn't because it wasn't a good show I just out grew it. It was time to shake up the show and they had a good concept. But the corny segments between segments and the nonchalant conduction of segments is ridiculous. Pull yourself together BET. Its time for you revamp your style. Your busy trying to keep up that your losing what you stood for in the beginning. Black Entertainment! Sometimes BET is embarrassing, like when the had their award show after Michael Jackson died and it was so ratchet and disheveled. That man deserved better. Personally I thought adding the little tributes by the stars between each segment was a nice touch but the performances added was too much. It need to be simple montage, the tributes and that's it!

Its OFFICIAL Paigion, Shorty Da Prince and Miss Mykie are GONE! BET released a statement early yesterday about hosts firing and gave the "Best of Luck on your Future Endeavors" speech. Its sad. I hope that it works out for those guys. But you'll never guess who's replacing them, Angela Simmons! Yes! She's their replacement or rather who they are considering to replace them. I guess they are going to their original format. 2 hosts of the opposite sex constantly hinting around the fact that they are together. Really attractive BET, really attractive!
Well I knew it was coming, it was just a matter of time. According to Bossip [via TMZ], Kordell Stewart has locked his soon to be ex-wife Porsha out of the house and changed the locks!
This divorce between them is getting really ugly. Apparently Porsha had to move in with her mother because Kordell locked Porsha out of the house and changed the locks. Porsha had to ask her attorney to persuade Kordell's people to give her a copy of the key but he won't budge. Porsha has filed new documents in family court asking the judge to force Kordell to ensure she has a key made or fork over some dough so that she can have a suitable residence to live in. But Kordell ain't having it. Recently Porsha tried to be amicable with Kordell but he wouldn't play ball, he called it "a waste of every ones time".
Porsha honey you better do battle. Kordell I don't know what the hell is going and personally I don't care. You wanted a woman who was at home with you and waiting on you, well baby you got it! Your very old fashioned and insecure it seems. Funny now you blindside this woman publicly with this divorce and refuse to pay her any alimony or anything. Porsha you need to pull yourself together. Fight for everything you deserve. The judge should and probably will side with you. Kordell wanted a stay at home wife and he got it.
Porsha you need to further your education in media since you are a reality star. Go another route beyond what most reality stars do (beyond the clothing lines, cosmetics, shoes, etc). Find a niche in television that you like. Be it in front or behind the camera. You'd be a great TV personality. Seriously, I think you need clean Kordell out! Get everything you can out of this divorce and then move on with your life.
It's unclear what Ms. Minaj's character will be but she's in the movie! Nicki's moving up! I happen to really love Nicki Minaj. I think the fact that she is eccentric and different makes her stand out. But when you talk to her she just seems like this really cool person. I'm glad that she gets to do a movie. She has been known to say that acting is her first love. Maybe she'll be like Macy Gray was to Training Day! Break a Leg Nicki! I was just about to lay down when I got this message on my Facebook feed! I was floored when I saw this from NewsOne.com. Apparently Esther Irene Stokes is accused of sexually molesting a 7 year old African American female student. But she claims that she's a racist and would never molest a black child according to Chron.com. A MESS!
The 7 year old little girl alleges that the teacher at Northwest Preparatory Academy Charter School in Humble sent all the other students away and began to molest her by touching her private area (which the little girl did identify to the authorities). Stokes denies that she touched the girl because was prejudice but when given a lie detector test, she failed. The little girl also told the police that when she told Stokes to stop she made the little girl stand outside in the hallway and denied her lunch for the day. Although Stokes denies it, the school reports on the docket that the little girl did not show for lunch [on March 1]. Watch the report below for yourself!
You know what this is just DISGUSTING! WHY? Why do people do this to children? I'm praying for that little girl. I hope she alright and well taken care of. I'm glad they caught this monster before it got any worse. She was first put on administrative leave after the incident. But was ultimately fired after an investigation of the incident was launched by Miracle Education Systems.
Her defense is that she's a racist? GTFOH (If your not good on internet lingo it means ----> Get The F*** Out of Here)! You have lost your DAMN MIND if you think for a second that this will work for you. Seriously Racism, thats an awesome angle. Heifa, I hope they put your ass under the jail! Better yet I hope they put you in a jail where another does the same thing your tried to do to that 7 year old girl. Your a despicable human being and I for one have no sympathy for you! I hope you ROT IN JAIL!
61 year old Esther Irene Stokes was charged with Indecency with a Child. She was arrested and released on bail the same day. Her trial is set for May 21.
